CPU: AMD Athlon 3400+ 64-bit Processing :: Test Systems and Setup

We tried to get as much of an apples to apples test ground as possible and I think we come pretty close with this one as the CPU's themselves are closer than ever to being the same features wise. The tests were run three times for accuracy on each system setup and score balanced by the average as the final score.

Memory timings for the 3200+ were unstable with the CAS set at 2.0 with stability only found when running the memory at a higher CAS of 2.5, but with the 3400+ that problem seems to be eliminated and the CPU ran fine with the Corsair memory with the CAS set at 2.0. All tests were run with a CAS latency of 2.0 except the 3200+ which was limited to the 2.5 value.
