Programs that use the Open-GL based 3D engine are usually Auto-Cad, Maya and 3D Studio Max and these programs help bring to life many of the game animations and graphics seen in a lot of of today's hottest gaming titles. Quake 3, yep we still use Quake 3 as it is stall a viable tool for measuring how well a system can perform and pump out pixel power in Open-GL and Quake 3 works in tandem with your CPU meaning the better the CPU power the better the score. UT2003 also tests the systems ability to pump out frame rates in the Open-GL environment as does DRONEZ, which is truly a cool thing to see when it is running as the graphics really look great.
