Well what can I say? The numbers tell the tale completely. The Aquarius II worked, and worked very well exactly as advertised, giving me a complete balance between noise and cooling. While there are other water-cooling units that will cool your CPU better, none of them are as easy to set up, nor are they as quiet, as the Thermaltake Aquarius II. I have been using this unit for 3 weeks now and have not had one system crash or hiccup in that time. It is virtually silent compared to any other heatsink I have used. Yes, it is even quieter than the FalconRock II that I reviewed awhile back.
Everything about this unit is solid and well made. I seriously doubt that anyone, who installs it properly, will have any problems with it at all. Coming in at around $150.00 street price, it is definitely an investment, but one that I can honestly say is easily justified by its ease of use and its great cooling ability and quiet operation. Thermaltake has done it again, and come up with an excellent cooling solution. I heartily recommend this system, both to casual users and heavy overclockers, and I am happy to give the Aquarius II Liquid Cooling kit an Editor's Choice Award!
