Portable: ECS i-buddie 4 Review :: Introduction

Have you begun to notice how everything keeps getting smaller and smaller as time goes by? Every time I turn around someone has a new mini or so called e-type machine that takes up very little space but is really not a portable all in one unit and only a small sized product.

The new ECS I-Buddie series of products are different. Okay you are thinking to yourself why are they so different, and I will tell you why. The I-Buddie is completely portable when using the optional 12-cell battery, and it doesn't need any additional devices to be a self-sustaining island as it has it own monitor, keyboard and mouse just like a laptop.

I was very impressed right off the bat when I received this as the I-Buddie has a very sleek sci-fi kind of look to it that is just slightly off the normal beat and track. ECS has done a pretty cool job in bringing this product to market and hopefully it will breath some life into what I consider a very stagnant market at the moment. Sound interesting? Read on and see the whole review, as it is really quite the cool product.
