Stability

Rock solid and steady even when pushed beyond factory specs, I would say they have a winner here. Stable as Plymouth Rock no problems of any sort at spec and slightly above. The memory ran at over 250MHz becomes a little jumpy at times on the Ti500. The Ti200 was stable up to 225MHz and then failed beyond that point. Being able to be overclocked in a stable way is in itself a strong way to show a cards ability to run in an extreme state.

Compatibility

nVidia once plagued by compatibility issues has come a long way and now seem to be able to work on any platform without problems. The card ran with every program, game or test we used in this evaluation without any compatibility issues.

Support

I have said it before and I will say it again these people have good customer and product support that rarely sees a complaint. I have heard many tales about MSI and their support and all have worked out well for the end user. If you ever have a problem with them email us and we will stick it in their ear. They will fix the problem in a very expedient manner.

Conclusion

Oh yeah baby daddy's gotta have one of these bad boys in his system and I mean yesterday. The bottom line is this: Both the Ti200/Ti500 series cards are improved versions of an already great chipset that further strengthens both nVidia and MSI as top notch contenders in the 3D video card market. There are no slouches in this bunch, just some nice stocking stuffers for this years holiday season.

Both these cards are based on the same chipset and the things that separate their differences are the content and price tag. With the Ti200 the software package and content is relatively small but so is the price tag coming in at under $200.00 U.S. The Ti500 although a much higher $350.00 price tag hangs on it comes with enough content goodies such as the 3D stereo glasses to warrant the extra money.

The cards perform very well in a number of applications and environments which can be seen when playing the latest games and using 3D modeling/rendering software. I rate the cards the same because they each offer something that makes them worthy of your money. If you want the top of the line performer with all the bells and whistles the Ti500 retail package is a well fleshed out package that is one of the best offered today.

If you want all the features but just want a quality card not all the extra goodies the Ti200 will suit your needs very well. Overall these were both really good products in their own way and each one had enough pixel power to get you through the night. Those of you with cash flow buy the Ti500 you can't take the money with you right. And those on a budget buy the Ti200, there really is not a great deal that you can visually perceive different when using either one of the cards so you won't be missing anything really important with the Ti200.
