This card features a pretty amazing design. It uses a large aluminum heat sink with a copper base and heat pipes to wick the heat away from the GPU. This design doesn't use any kind of fan at all and is therefore totally devoid of any moving parts. At first glance the card actually looks pretty large. It takes up two expansion slots on your motherboard. This card also lacks the need for any external power since it can get everything it needs from the PCI Express slot.

Here's where this feature really becomes amazing. This card uses all of the standard clock speeds and features of the stock card. In other words this card isn't underclocked in order to keep temperatures down and prevent artifacting or stability issues. There would have to be some serious engineering to make this card remain cool without an active cooling solution. Sapphire has really outdone themselves with this new card. Now let's see what kind of performance you can expect to get out of this new video card.
