This card currently retails for about $349.00 US dollars and this puts it in a very competitive position with the GTX 560Ti and the GTX570. These are really amazing cards for the price and this one even comes with a slight overclock to help to boost performance. We tested the card at the speeds and feeds that the card comes clocked at and will do advanved overclocking at another time.
If you look at our benchmarks this card was able to easily beat the nVidia GTX560 Ti and comes very close to the GTX570. This is pretty impressive considering that the GXT 560 Ti is one of the best cards on the market for gaming in terms of price versus performance. This is the kind of thing that we like to see from our video card vendors. This type of competition really helps to give the end users the options that they want and at a reasonable price.
At these prices and with this kind of performance, I would expect that these cards will be very popular with those that want performance for their money. This is going to force nVidia to come up with an answer for such a powerful card at such a reasonable price. Hopefully nVidia will be able to meet this challenge because if they can it should keep prices down and give us lots of options to choose from. It should be an interesting Spring and Summer for those of us that like to keep up with these sorts of things.
