I really like the matte black look of the PCB and all the black slots and ports, but I would have liked to see the black scheme taken further with completely black heatsinks. The orange on the heatsinks and the orangish SATA cables go fine together, but I would have been a bigger fan of an all black color scheme.
The placement of the PCI-e slots is perfect for someone planning on using multiple cards since the additional space between the main x16 slot and the second slot will allow greater air flow and cooling for the primary card. Neither of these are deal breakers though, and in a price versus performance comparison this board is going to come out on top or near the top every time. The TZ77XE4 performance is top notch especially for a motherboard at this price point, the board looks great and offers almost every feature you could ask for, so if you are in the market for a new Intel motherboard check give BIOSTAR a chance and save yourself some money for your other system parts.
