BattleField 3 Campaign Overview

As you start in the interrogation room, you go into a mission where you are a Russian soldier attacking Kaffarov’s house for information about the nukes. You advance into the house and kill a bunch of enemies pursuing Kaffarov. It was pretty funny because you have access to the enemies communication and the enemy is amazed that only three people are infiltrating the compound. They are like no way, impossible. After killing more enemies you make your way to the roof where find Kaffarov escaping in a helicopter and you have to jump on the helicopter to stop him. You jump onto it before it takes off and fight him out of the helicopter and jump down into a pool. He then tells you that Solomon has the nukes and he will give you information if you let him live you. However, you then kill him and it cut scenes back to the interrogation room.

After the Russian's point of view, you end up seeing Sergeant Blackburn’s side of what happened at Kaffarovs. This mission is fairly quick as you make your way around the villa. As you travel to the pool where Dima and Kaffarov were in a previous missions you finally see where Dima and Sergeant Blackburn meet for the first time. It all starts to make sense after this point as you find out thats why the detectives were wondering why Blackburn chose to help the Russians instead of betraying his country. He is told by Dima that there are two nukes in Solomon’s possession and that Solomon intends to use them on Paris and New York. He wants to make pact with you and go after Solomon without the annoyance of the government and politics. However, Cole cuts the conversation short and Dima tells you to shoot Cole in order to let him go so that millions of lives can be saved. This is where it gets ugly because you basically made into shooting your commanding office Cole. You then let Dima go in order to try to stop the Nuke in Paris. Even though you know already that Dima fails, this is the scene that allows Dima to follow up after the first Nuke.

During the campaign you’re fighting against a group called the PLR (People’s Liberation and Resistance) and you’re somewhere near the Iran Border trying to find someone named Solomon, the leader of the PLR. Later you find out Solomon has Nuclear Weapons and you need to secure them in order to prevent a terrorist attack.
