There isn’t any other mATX board that can compete with this one in terms of performance and stability. It gave us no issues at all with regards to installation and setup. This board was a pleasure to work with and to see it chewing through our benchmarks. There is no question that if you’re looking for an mATX form factor in this platform, this is the one to own.
This board has some amazing features and not the least of these is its form factor. Modders are going to love this board simply because of it give them so many options and still provide a powerful platform for their creation. This board also comes with a whole host of amazing Asus utilities like their popular AI Suite II, DIGI+ Power Control for controlling power to your VRM and DRAM voltages and power. Fan Expert is also included for using the three chassis fan headers for setting temperature zones within your case. EPU is a useful utility to control your power usage so that you can use power more efficiently. These are just some of the very popular utilities that Asus has included with this board.
In conclusion, this board has been incredibly impressive. It delivered performance that was nearly as good as their Rampage Formula version of this board that we reviewed earlier. For a board in this form factor to come with all of these amazing features and deliver this level of performance is just unreal. Asus has really outdone the competition with this new motherboard and this is what we’ve come to expect from their ROG series. This board looks amazing and the performance is there to back it up. Personally, have never really been a fan of mATX motherboards, but this one is changing my mind. You really are getting something special with this one. With both Crossfire and SLI support you really can’t go wrong. It’s just an incredibly powerful little board that beats most of the other ATX boards in this chipset.
