This board has performed exceptionally well and has delivered performance that is a good bit above its price point. This is great for the enthusiast community because more competition means lower prices. This board should definitely force some other manufacturers to look at their pricing structure and realize that there is some pretty stiff competition out there. This is an incredible chipset that really was designed to be pushed to its limits. This board shouldn’t have any problem doing that.
Not only does this board look great but it performs really great as well. There really is much more to say. It delivers amazing performance for its price and it looks good while doing it. You can’t ask for much more than that. With an all-black PCB and connectors this board is sure to be used in a large variety of builds. It just screams to be used in a heavily modified system. I can see this being paired with a water cooling system with all-black hoses and fittings. That would look really cool. No pun intended. Hopefully this won’t be the last X79 board that we get to review from our friends at ASRock. So keep checking back to see if we get anything else from them that might excite you. This board has certainly excited us with its amazing performance. This board was a pleasure to work with and should provide many hours of gaming and overclocking enjoyment.
