Servosity Unveils New DR Server with Hyper-V Instant Recovery

The new feature offers recovery of a server in minutes and supports Live Migration, Advanced Networking, Clustering, and more through the Hyper-V environment.

Servosity, a provider of disaster recovery for MSPs, has released its latest version of Servosity DR Server featuring Hyper-V Instant Recovery.

Servosity DR Server is the easiest way for MSPs to protect clients’ Windows or Linux servers from potential business interruptions, says the company, and enables users to protect data on premise, in Microsoft Azure, or any other major cloud provider. DR Server includes Servosity’s cloud disaster recovery technology as well as StorageCraft’s ShadowProtect SPX software. With the added functionality, the solution can support Instant Recovery directly into Hyper-V.

“Servosity has always been an early adopter of StorageCraft technology,” says Curt James, StorageCraft‘s vice president of marketing and business development. “The Servosity team is innovative, and we’re pleased to have them leverage ShadowProtect SPX and VirtualBoot for Hyper-V, making their DR Server offering for MSPs more robust, more functional, and faster.”

“Servosity DR Server now allows for the recovery of a server in an enterprise class environment. This new functionality means the recovery of a server in minutes and supports Live Migration, Advanced Networking, Clustering, and more through the Hyper-V environment,” says Damien Stevens, founder & CEO, Servosity. “MSPs require one product that can work across a variety of environments, while allowing them to instantly recover into Microsoft Hyper-V. We built Servosity DR Server specifically for MSPs to centrally manage all clients, both on premise and cloud, through our multi-tenant and brandable web portal. This allows MSPs to setup optional self-service access for their clients. Our single pane of glass with no appliance required makes DR Server the easiest way to setup, monitor, and manage servers for MSPs.”

To learn more about this new feature, Servosity will be running a webinar on January 12, 2016, at 2PM EST to show a demo of this process and answer questions around it. For more information, visit http://www.servosity.com/webinars.
