Ecobee Launches Home Automation API

The smart thermostat is just one piece of the Electronic House puzzle—but lately, it’s a really popular one. Thermostat maker ecobee Inc. is hoping to use some of that popularity to launch a slew of connected home solutions. To make that happen, the company just launched its new public Application Programming Interface (API).
