Sapphire's HD 7850 (full review) isn't a $500 monster card, but it falls right in that sweet spot for killer gaming performance and price. Yes, it's a bit spendy at just south of $300, but we're talking about building a gaming PC on a budget - not a budget PC that can kind of play games.
