Since Microsoft released IE9, I haven't been vehemently opposed to Redmond's browser. In Metro, thus far, Internet Explorer (version 10) is pretty much the only browser available. It's not that the performance will drive you crazy; it's faster and even more responsive than IE9.
In Metro, Microsoft decided the URL bar belongs on the bottom... unlike every other web browser that's ever existed for any platform on any device in history. Their rationale is that on a tablet, it makes more sense at the bottom. I suppose that "could" be true, but to this day I haven't been able to overcome 15 years of knowing the URL bar is at the top.
