Best Tablet Vendor: CONCLUSION
Analyst firm IDC expects tablets running Google’s Android OS to command greater market share than Apple Inc.’s iPad by the end of the year, and products featuring Microsoft’s Windows 8 and Windows RT operating systems are storming into the tablet picture as well. Yet Apple won top honors in our best tablet category just like last year, and by an almost identically large margin. Korean hardware giant Samsung and ASUSTeK Computer Inc. took home the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
