DVI has nothing to do with 1080i, thats just the HDTV standard, all DVI outputs support 1080 Progressive
this is what DVI/TMDS support
upto
(Single) WUXGA 1920 × 1200 @ 60 Hz
(Dual) WQXGA (2560 × 1600) @ 60 Hz
i whould think this motherboard has DVI-D? then look at dual ^^
DVI-D = Dual Link DVI
am gonna pick this up when i build a High Definition HTPC
