I ordered one of these motherboards recently and was advised that this motherboard has issues running a quad core processor and is being recalled by the company, i will have to wait until the next release is available.
It would be a question of mine as to the way these motherboards are tested? and why this was not picked up?
and by the way it got a 97 point ranking? |

Ok guys don't let me burst some bubbles but this board looks to me that it fell a little short on the benchmarkings specially on FEAR@max setting. The only way I saw it to be an editor's choice is it's OCing options but then again there's the stability factor which this board showed and eVGA's top notch warranty protection whuch all together would make a product shine thru.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not downsizing their mobos, I've been looking into eVGA mobos for quite a while now and they seem to know what they're doing and would definetly get one with no hesitations.
The only thing that makes this moborg approved, IMO, is stability and OCing options and what I would call a "basic enthusiasts board".
In another note... is it possible to see an Editors Choice for the mid to budget boards? I mean, it would be great to classify them as highend/enthusiast/mid/budget and rate them within their respective board level or classification. I bet it would be very helpful to people who are looking for a certain level of build and still know which are the best on their build category
Just a thought tho _________________
