I'm running at 1024x768 default, and all looks great!
Ensure your "wrap text" tooltip is not checked!! And if the page is not full-screen, that could explain the problem too. _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |

I really like it!!! Nice colors. I do have one suggestion:
Here's the page I just saw today. I use 1024X768 res.
I've highlighted what I'm talking about. Could you stack the google ad under the search box? It would give the middle section more space and waste less on the right side.
At first glance it looks a bit more cluttered. What might look nice is if the header bars were a little larger. The "hardware reviews" and "motherboard reviews" bars are what I'm talking about. They look too squished in there. The headers don't "pop" for me. It would just be a little easier to find thing at a moments glance if they were taller.
Other than those 2 things... I LOVE IT! I know how hard and time consuming it is to change a website. I've done it and my husband does it a lot. He hates the flash site clients becuase they all want a miracle in about 10 minutes of billable time. _________________

| Thanks for the heads up, the ads will probaby have stay where they are at the moment. I am trying to optimize everything for speed, so it may change. looks like you are using an ad blocker of some kind... The ads that are missing should show up even if you don't use flash... Any idea why the ads are missing? |

The home page and the Forum header page look great!
I have AVG (subscribed) with a pop-up blocker, but no problems at seeing the ads. Both FF and IE have no problems, but IE seems to lag with new page loads. May just install FF on the second system, and use IE only when required. FF is more secure!!
Given some time and fine-tuning, this will be the greatest site on the Web!
Great work, ollE!
All good results in their own time, and haste may lay waste to long hours of work! |
