Just to show off, I guess he could cut someone with it if he wanted... |
As it is right now, to be honest, you could kill someone with them by the tip. Since you hold them in a reverse grip, you'd have lots of leverage. Sharpen them and they make formiddable weapons.
As for what you do with them...

I dare some guy to come near my girl...
As of right now, they're display. But, looking online at this manufacturer's rep and the general rep of these particular blades, they can be sharpened and used as actual weapons. High quality stainless steel blades with ray leather handles. I got a bargain for them at the convention.
I'll probably sharpen them and learn to use them. It would prove interesting, as none of my martial arts classes ever covered any saber claw variations. _________________

Most display knives and swords are made with a metal that will not hold an edge for very long if at all. You may not be able to get them sharp. _________________ "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

..So now we will have to call you "Saber Sabre"!!!
They can be considered as dangerous weapons, and some areas may prohibit their carrying in public if the blade length is over 3.5".
Stainless steel can take an edge, but will not hold it for long.. due to the temper of the metal. They could be case-hardened, but then may become brittle. |

They're either made of steel or he's wearing a cup. Nothing can bring Riddick down!

I understand. But, they are not only for display. These are quality pieces and have a good rep for being actual use weapons. The stainless steel is well folded so there's no question of strength. _________________
