the performance doesn't look all stellar

do you think it is better then the Asus counterpart?

I'm not sure what you mean by that statement. In the three computers that I've built, I've always used ABIT mobo's and have LOVED each one of them. They've been very good to me... very reliable, stable, quality mobo's and I don't see any reason to stop continuing to support their product

People here on this board used to tell me that I needed to have ABIT send me compensation for promoting their products so much. This was back in the Socket 478/ Socket A days when the IC7-Max3 and NF7 reigned supreme. Their last few generations of boards haven't been above the rest like these two did.

I'm glad to see them duking it out with that bout with possible bankruptcy. Go ABIT!

(still running a heavily OC'd S478 P4 in an IC7-Max3 so I haven't gone anywhere from them :wink:)

besides all the features it doesn't look all that great to me

hopefully in the future the 32 pipelines will be better implemented

From the pictures, the layout looks great. Particularly all that room around the CPU for custom coolers.

Has anyone built on one of these yet??
