I've seen some reviews of the 7800 GS on some other sites. I'm not that impressed. Not to say that I wouldnt take one over my 6600GT though. lachen

Hello,

Am I correct in thinking that;

1, This is pretty much the best AGP card out there now?

2, With my spec (AMD64 3000, 1.5Gig Ram, 5900XT graphics card) this should make a huge difference and I might be able to play TES: Oblivion on a higher setting than the lowest?

Thanks for you time

Well I'd say that the BFG 7800GSOC is a better card, even if the XFX has a higher clock and memory speed (only just, though. 440MHz vs. 400MHz GPU and 1.3GHz vs. 1.25GHz memory) The BFG can be overclocked very nicely and IMHO is a much more rugged card.

Indeed, with your current setup, you'll able to pop in either one of these cards and see a huge performance difference from what you have now. Obvilion will be looking amazing at full settings. cool

Cool, I will eventually upgrade to PCI Express and decent CPU, but if this will do in the mean time and I can get Oblivion to anywhere near full settings I will be more than happy, oh and I will be able to play FEAR with decent settings now aswell hopefully.....
