|
|
I've read moborg reviews on water cooling but the reviews are for kits and/or a complete water cooling system right off the box.
I amongst others have also gone the water route. Not only because of it's effectiveness but also about noise issues. I just fired my EHEIM pump and the the thing is dead quite!
Aside from different types of radiators and waterblocks on the market, liquid solututions are coming in fast in production. There's already alot of different manufacturers making their own pre-mixed liquid solution as water cooling fast becoming an alternative standard from typical HSF cooling and mind you... those pre-mixed don't come cheap!
Everytime you ask about what's the best liquid solution to use all you get are answers like...
use just water
or
use water with only this
or
use this and that and this and that and water
Next thing you know you have quarts and gallons of different types of additives only to use a teaspoon of each
Maybe it's time to put solutions to test against each other including DIY liquid/water solution and name brand pre-mix solutions. Surely this is of great interest and benifit. If fans and HS are reviewed in separate... why not do the same for water cooling? _________________

Good call Doc, alot should appreciate it
Time to know if a $35 price tag for a 32oz bottle of outerspace is worth every penny or a mere homebrew from left-overs would be just as effective.
Let the beatings begin...! _________________
