Because when they sign up they appear in 2 places, firstly in the members list and also as the "latest member" on the front of the forums, so although I agree their exposure is limited, even if 1% of "us" view their crap, they feel some sense of achievement  |

| Not saying for sure, but maybe they have their computer set up so that there is a dialog box with the code-pic on it. Then they put in the info. |
