Disallowing websites in profiles

Postby EmilyB » Thu Nov 03, 2005 4:12 am

There has always been a problem on these forums of pornographic profiles being created just for the sake of advertising their filth and enticing like-minded people to view the website and sign-up to it.

If we could disallow any websites in profiles this would surely stop this type of "member" (I use that word very carefully!) signing up and bombarding us with pornography.

I thought this website was family oriented? So please lets make it more family friendly.

We're already working on another solution to this issue. One that doesn't restrict the freedom of other members.

People may want to live in denial but the fact is this place is flooded Do you really want me to compile a list? I bet I will find at least a dozen profiles within the next 24 hours, without even making an effort to look!

If you want to "see my hand" thats fine. Its 12:20am and Im off to bed but tomorrow morning (within the next 12 hours) I shall PM you a list of these profiles with no less than 12, possibly more depending on how much time I have!

I will not post any such profiles in this thread or anywhere else on the public forum because they are just vile!

We're getting it handled Emily. Not to worry. Plus, the mods already have the list in the mod forum.
