eek is what i said about it too. It's really weird that it whoops the typhoon, but that's probably because it's keeping the nearby power circuitry chilly so that can't contribute to the heat production. As to the BT, it's a good sink, but the stock fan is all too weak. I've replaced mine with a 100CFM UV green fan on a rheo, and even on the lowest setting (which is pretty quiet), airflow can be felt through the fins, which is much more than can be said for the stock fan.

ya i was thinking of getting the BT but i might just wait and see if asus makes a heatsink for amd

you could adapt the sink, but you need fairly thick ALU and some basic skills

I just got the Asus AMD version called the X-mars cooler and it works awesome. Good product, good price....enuf said

Hmm... while the X-Mars has similar ideas, i don't think it's the same sink. good to hear it works though big grin
