Air Cooling using Zalman CNPS7700-CU which takes care of CPU and North Bridge. I am running 4 Hitachi SATAII in RAID0 mode and I noticed that the South Bridge heat sink gets really hot so I put a small fan on it. other than that the case is Lian Li PC V2000.

Tulatin,
Although mentioned in the body of your article and strongly noted in your conclusion, the actual temps are not posted. I would be interested in knowing just what the temps were. Both at stock speeds, and the
incredible heat loads the chip put out under full load.
while overclocked.

I am also interested in the temps netmann is getting on his Asus p5wd2 with the 530j.

Approximately 70c loaded un-oced, and 80c (sensor maximum) when oced. I'm on a big typhoon now which cuts the OCed temp down to a nice 54c
