I voted Kingston. I've used Kingston, PNY, Viking and an unknown brand.
I've nothing against using the brands which are popular in this thread.
I've noticed that some brands use...nay, they require higher voltages. Why do they suck the power?

ASUS K8N, AMD Sempron 3100+(1.8ghz), 1gb RAM, eVGA 5500FX 256mb AGP, two WD120gb SATA drives in RAID 0 (striping), 450w power supply.
Fold well, so that others may prosper. |

I'm currently Running 4x1gb sticks of DDR2 533 Kingston ValueRam in my Tower, and I have a very high level of overall system performance. Kingston has always done a good job for me, so that's why I voted for them. I might eventurally go to 4x2gb sticks of DDR2 800, and odds are I will be going with Kingston Then. _________________ People who have gone through Starfleet academy should be taught how to fix everything. Corsair all the way lol.. Also I'm a sucker for legend ram as it's cheap and I've never had any incompatability issues with it but my vote goes to corsair... lol.. In my personal rig at home I have 2gig of value ddr2 533 ram with the right timings and 2.4v I can get them to run at ddr2 1066mhz lol.. _________________ core i7 920@4.0ghz

OCZ for my last 3 builds!
Saw them often recommended when I first decided to build a comp.
Never had a problem with them, and with a bit of shopping around (and lots of time wasted on irrelevant links ) they pretty much match £ for £ the other manf's on offer, along with excellent timings and overclockin' stability. |

Are Micron and Crucial the same thing?
Wait....
Yep. Crucial: A division of Micron.
So Micron and Crucial RAM are equal. |
