Yes, one is under the Forum category which relates to the forums. The other is under Motherboards.org main site. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |

I have a 1 day poll in place to get your feedback on the prefered method.
I will make a decision and the changes tomorrow on this issue.
Thanks for all the feedback. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |

One for the forums only, one for the rest of the site. | MoboCop just modified the one for the forums to read Forum problems/errors. The one for the rest of the site is just problems/errors now! _________________ We Help You. You Can Help Us!

Crikey! You realize that's 32 forums right now? If someone was using IE and had dialup they'd be near-suicidal.
So I wrote down all the categories and thought for a couple mins and conglomerated and such and have come up with the following (just a suggestion so nobody get all outta whack about it). I don't think the tech help should be split up by component because a lot of people needing tech help dont know even THE components let alone which ones are responsible for the prob.
Core forums of importancy:
Announcements -for the sake of announcing things
Tech support - the original general aim of the forum
Reccomendations- because plannning is key
Mobo ID- the specific focus of mobo.org
Hardware discussions:
CPU/memory- I didn't have a GREAT reason for lumping these together
Data storage- HDD, optical, flashdives, what have you
Mobos and chipsets - chipsets are on mobos, and therefore a component
of them
Multimedia- Sound cards, vid cards, monitors, and speakers. And if the
mood strikes, then graphics tablets and printers and digicams
and all that too.
Modding- because it can be done
Cooling- to cool hardware
General- for random things like mice or other peripherals and such
Software/intangible stuff:
Bios
Overclocking
OS
Programming
Networking/virus/spyware/security - related enough. Yeah networking
involves hard and software but oh well
Games/gaming
Community:
Folding - Prion and genetic research
Water Cooler/ WC
HYW
Buy/sell
Housekeeping:
Test forum
Problems and errors (for the site and boards, i mean its the same person
repsonding to both of those error types -mobocop i'm
looking at you here)
Requests- of any variety for same reasons as above. Maybe combine
these last two as a sort of "to the admin" forum.
So that's still a good number of forums. I know I killed Atang's gone in 60ns forum but not only is it desolate in there but most things could be moved elsewhere. And Article reviews can be discussed in their respective categories. Cases get discussed elsewhere, either for cooling or mods or reccs. Same with PSU's, typically a Recc or modding type of discussion. They could always pop back into general or something. _________________

| I'd suggest putting cases,PSU's, cooling tips and tricks, and mods all in one section. |
