Why can't I see any shared drives over my LAN, when I can have internet sharing? All IP addresses are static apart from the ISP connection and sharing is enabled. The OS is winXP pro on all systems and I have tried everything I know!

Same workgroup name on all PC's? Have you tried calling each PC by computer name? "//COMPUTERNAME" in a command prompt should bring up a list of all drives on that computer. You can also try each PC's. IP address directly. Make sure all network settings are the same on each PC. (TCP/IP installed, Client for Microsoft Networks, Primarly logon is the same, etc) _________________ 0100101001001101

Same things I would check as well Johnny. Sharing internet and file sharing are not related. One can happen when the other will not. _________________ My NEW 3dMark score http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4955820

Have you gone through and set sharing permissions on each drive to be shared or just enabled file sharing? There is a check box to share files over a network under the sharing tab when you go into the properties of each drive .

Dont do any of the stupid wizards. If it asks you to use a wizard to configure it, click no and do it manually. _________________ My NEW 3dMark score http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4955820

Can you at least see all of the computers on the network from each station? Also do you see the hand under each drive icon indicating a shared drive on each computer when you view the drive under My Computer?

No computers seen, all sharing protocols set, all modem share, removed and reinstalled TCP/IP, still no joy!
