Im not an expert at web coding, but it seems that the login issues started during the sites facelift... Could that be the culprit, causing these problems? Since it only Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape and not IE being effected?? _________________ GO GREEN |

firefox problem was already there long before the facelift. troubles started after the forum software upgrade to version 10, problem has been solved with version 11 if you kick out the old cookie, I think the cookies format has changed... _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

It seems that many of the other issues are fixed now, but still no topic notification (at least for me). Is it working for everyone else?
I have tried clearing both IE and Firefox. I also tried posting with each. I tried turning email notification off and then back on. I even double checked my screened mail to make sure they weren't getting filtered. |

Otherwise you will not get a notification. _________________ We Help You. You Can Help Us!

Desperation. I had tried changing the cookies before when the problem first cropped up and it did not help.
So this latest go around I spent a few hours searching and searching for a solution. I came across this script on phpbb forums that detects the correct cookie setting for you and updates the config. Having gotten no where I said what the hell and ran it.
It worked. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |

I have it set in my profile as the default to always notify me. It always seems to be checked when I post (it is for sure on this post). |
