I am trying to solve a login and topic notification issue with firefox. I have changed the cookie settings.
Please clear your cookies and cache then close all browsers. Then you can open a browser and log in again. Should set a new cookie and all should be good.

Test 1: Settings seem to hold again after restarting the browser! Horray MoboCop!
I cleared cookies and cache at google.com, closed the browser window, opened it to motherboards.org, signed in with the 'keep me logged in' option and closed the window again. When I opened the browser window to the website a second later I'm still logged in.

Test 2: No longer do messages that I've seen already show as unread, including my own posts. Horray again!! I think this thing's been kicked in the bucket 
For the last test I'll need someone to post something somewhere to see if it shows up as unread

Finally after 5 minutes of waiting I can report that Test 3 is a success 
HollowPoint posted here and showed that new posts show up as they should in both the overview and specific forums! Yay, now its off to bed

Well, I'm already at the site in IE, and if I clear and go to FF then all the unread posts will be marked. You better believe I'll be trying this ASAP, though.

| I do not have problems with login, but I am not getting topic reply notifications. I am currently using Firefox, though I was not getting notifications with IE as well. I cleared cache and cookies in Firefox. I will try clearing IE as well and see if that helps. |
