regarding newegg link, do we have to use the link here so motherboards.org gets credit or what?
newegg has a selection that ask where did you hear from us but I do not think motherboards.org was on there. |

when I did this sort of stuff, the referring site (in this case motherboards) got a % of the sale if you bought anything from the site it sent you to (in this case newegg). _________________ "that's some catch that Catch 22"

Newegg Idea!!
Go to the homepage and get your browser so you can see your desktop. Then drag and drop from the advert to your desktop. Now, everytime you want to buy something from newegg you have an easy shortcut and the site gets a little something.
Or, if you don't want a clutted desktop, right click on the link made as above and copy that url into your favourites. Now you can get to Newegg nice and easy to find those products to recomend to people on the forum! _________________

edit: oopsies doesn't seem to work for me
edit again: works now! needed to do 'save link' instead of making my own shortcut doh _________________

No it's not, you have to physically add the link to favourites on IE, aka - find the folfder and put it in I think. _________________

The "boss" (MoboCop) must be making a 48-hour day out of a 24-hour one, with all the effort required to maintain this site. And still maintain a healthy "home" site!
Sir, your efforts are appreciated, and we all thank you! Same for the 'Mods'. Without their combined effort, this would be ranked in the "two-star" class, instead of the "five-star" class.
I speak mainly for myself, but maybe others may concur, that we are willing to help, if needed, in the preservation of such a grand Forum!

Thank you. But I would have to say that all of you make the forums what it is. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |

I personally would like to thank all of you for your great ideas and generous spirit in wanting to help out this forum we all love.
If everyone would use Robs idea with whatever store you want to link to, you will all be helping out the best way currently possible. That and buy some "stuff" from the Mobo store. I have a hat, Polo shirt and license plate frame. _________________ The Gift of Healing
