Just a word of thanks for the site. I am not going through every post on this thread or the others, but I don't mind the links. I think anything that keeps such a great source of information for such a vast group of different level enthusiasts is a good deal. Anyone who can't appreciate that it ain't free to support a site and equipment is living a little too sheltered a life, if you ask me. Thanks for the heads up on the links! _________________ Thermaltake V3 Black Edition Mid Tower Case

For those who want to $ help out while mobo.org is not accepting donations.... GO BUY SOMETHING IN THE GEAR STORE. This way everyone comes out ahead. You get some new stuff and MoboCop gets more $ for this site. Everyone's happy that way. _________________

OK - I have my Motherboards.org shirt.
I was possibly among the first to PM Mobocop, who simply explained to me that it was intended. Good enough for me, I've seen weirder advertising (and feel bad for not using the Newegg LINK - but rather used a shortcut - when I am suggesting system components). Note that I quit posting about this topic till this has settled down - I realized that Mobocop was about to be swamped in PM and forums about it.
It sounds like I might need to get another shirt or something (hopefully with MOBOT across the chest !).
Suggestion to everyone that would cause the sponsors to take note (I KNOW I've directed many to NewEgg for example), let's use the sponsored links as much as possible (rather than, perhaps, shortcuts) to shop - so they'll KNOW that the links are working, perhaps how valuable their advertising here is.
Of course I'm supportive of whatever else is needed to make these forums work - contributions, links, whatever (some may be more annoying than others - another forum site I frequent runs on donations - and since I use it, I donate). This community means a lot to me, and I recomend it frequently - especially to folks with PC-related questions that I cannot answer, they are usually hesitant to sighj up (most free forums require users to accept a certain amount of SPAM, etc.). I have learned a lot about building PC's and making worldwide friends (even if robyn dosen't want to visit before I move from Mpls area), it would be fun to meet someone on the street wearing a motherboards shirt !!
I just wanted to say where I am coming from, openly. Thanks, Mobocop, for the extra effort it must have taken to respond to all of us regarding this.
