Just in case you are curious, the forums were down because I moved the databases to a new server. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |

Thanks for the info mc. I figured it was some kind of maintenance maneuver, so I wasn't too alarmed. _________________ Antec NeoHE 550

P4 2.66
1GB DDR RAM
2x80 GB 7200 RPM HDD
The only duty this server does is the sql database for the forums and main site. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |

When I get done with it, I might donate my current PC to Mobos.org as a server PC... _________________

Appreciate the thought, but you should donate it to folding or a school.
We dont own any servers. We just rent dedicated servers in large datacenters close to large bandwidth pipes.
It is easier and more convienant to let them handle the maintenance and upgrade issues. _________________ Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted - Albert Einstien |
