Did you start with a clean bootdisk with only systemfiles and flashprog and biosfile without drivers or memory managers ?

start dos- command line only? You do want to load anything at startup when flashing your bios...

ok managed to make a floppy with DrDos BIOS boot, enabled FDD for W2K in BIOS and it worked

Disabled System BIOS cache , re booted with DrDos, ran AMINF333.exe and got this error message

General protection fault in AMINF333.EXE at 0070:2831 code=480C ss=3DA0 ds=0020 es=0060 ax=051a bx=0000 cx=0317 dx=0002 sp=4F2E bp=4F50 si=0005 di=50AE

Trying to get the best BIOS to run a Athlon 1.4 T-Bird on my system.

Any Ideas please

try other floppy drive

run this:
http://www.goldmemory.cz

sounds like either a flakey floppy drive or memory trouble...
