Thank you. I've noticed that there is an improvement with the Mozilla Firefox browser that I am using right now. Thanks again for posting and sharing this information. We will be expecting a lot of helpful tips from you on this forum then.
Thanks |

FasterFox addon for FF does a similar "Optimization" and has other optional options for different tweaking. |

2004 -- sorry now 2012
You information is so outdated and it doesn't help with 12, 13, 14 -- in fact everything was pretty fine with 3.4
Any help? My firefox has been screwed up (freezes, etc) for over six months. _________________ Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog, it's too dark to read.

I notice like evrything else in windows, most of the time FF is eating at least 512MB with just 2 or 3 tabs open. How much internal memory do you have? _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

512 megs is a lot! My FF with one site open takes less than 100 k. All those "tool bars" with associated links being open will take a lot of overhead.

May be time to DL the latest version, then uninstall the current version, and install the latest one. Export your 'faves' before hand. Over time, even the best programming can become burdened with obsolete data.
But one flaw of Internet use.. some servers may not be able to handle all the traffic at certain times of day!! _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |
