I currently have a web host that give me unlimited space , bandwidth , and e-mail accounts all for just 18 dollars a year. I know thats a great deal but I was just wondering how do you host your own site? I have cable and a router and I was just wondering how do people host them selves? Please post a reply or e-mail me.

You can get a DNS2GO account, it is a free Domain Name System that will make your home/business computer accessible anytime, anywhere by associating a domain name of your choice to your currently assigned IP address.
Of course there are other DNS' also.

| My Site is whizport.com . I signed up for Dns2Go to use for my other domain whizport.net . I need to setup a server. I want it to be on red hat linux 7.3 . I dont know linux at all. Is it easy to setup a server? Please post a reply. |

Lots of Web hosting providers.. and programming. But first register your domain name to ensure it is unique, and copyrighted.
You will need a lot of bandwidth to serve more than 10 'clients' at any one session, if a personal server site. A T-1 service or better would be required.
