my school has a filter on its internet system, so i cant go here: www.dark-future.org . anyone know a way for me to get around this?

My high school (back in the day) had something called Connect Tenn (for Tennessee). No way around it. Every computer was connected to the net through their servers which regulated what sites you could go to. Every site that was accessed was later reviewed and determined scholastic or not. If it had nothing to do with school, they blocked it. Sorry. That's why I like college, no stupid blocks or anything

Nope, no way. We have had 4 years of trying at ours and am now on the 5th!!! To our horror, they blocked hotmail 2 weeks ago!!!
But this is a British blocker done through County Hall and then BT (or so they say)

I don't want to "sound holier than you" but I tend to agree with COPPERSHIRT.. this amounts to asking how to hack around safeguards that the school's admin put in place. I'm sorry, but when you're at school, you should be doing stuff related to learning.. (except for the learning of how to bypass things.. lol)
If you really feel that any site that is blocked and shouldn't be.. then ask the admin why.

Oh come on you guys!
The poor guy is at school 24 hrs a day 7 days a week, and all he wants to do is view some webpages. Sounds fine to me. You can't study all the time(or even some of the time in my case).
