I am very sorry for bumping an almost 10 year old thread (new highscore, level up!), but I really need the IH4077D.208G BIOS file.
I've been googling for hours of hours, I just can't find the file!
The server that was posted in 2002 is still up (I managed to find the username and password too), but the pub folder is deleted. There's just a bunch of random folders in there, nothing related to PCs at all.
It's an IH4077D - AT&T Globalyst 310 model 3254, EFAR chipset. Seems to share the same BIOS as the 330/360? Although the NCR (they bought up AT&T) Globalyst 360 BIOS on their website is completely different, not Award Software. There's no way I'm flashing that.
I dumped the BIOS from my mobo, it's from 11/07/94, I want a newer one to see if I get more luck with my DX4 upgrade. 16-bits (dot) org/etc/IH4077D.BIN |

This is going to be pretty tough.

from what I can gather is he's trying to gain DX4 compatability to improve performance... _________________ We Help You. You Can Help Us!

Yep, let's see if I made a mirror of that FTP-server. And if the bios in there actually has a release date newer than 10/3/95, it is just your core that is 10/10/94
There's no newer core bios for this board other than maybe a commercial upgrade. Going into the offline archives now. _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

Only other thing I could suggest is trying to find one of those BIOS companies like MrBIOS to provide a more up to date one.
Not too many of those left I would imagine. _________________ "Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality." -Jules de Gautier

We have eSupport but I doubt if they will have one for this board. Other than that, he is quite happy with the '98 bios, just the jumper settings do not match the th99 page for this board so I'll check my offline collection if I have them for a different rev since this board comes in at least 2 different incarnations. _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

Hello
I am also looking for this file I am trying to restore an old 486 with an IH4077 motherboard, I am trying to make it work with a DX4 Overdrive but it won't boot. I'm hoping the new BIOS fixes this issue but I am unable to locate the file anywhere on the internet...
Would someone be kind enough to provide me with he BIOS update file?
Thanks very much |
