Len, I am sorry but I would like to disagree with two words in the above quote: far fetched and sci-fi. However, I do agree with the terms Science. I would rather qualify it as valid scientific theory due to the fact the mathematical model to prove it (true or false) has been developed. _________________ Help humanity .....join the

i apologize for the above statements, as the science is way over my head, thus it isn't logical to pass judgement w/ o comprehending it. it does appear to be pushing the boundaries so far that it seems that it borders on being sci- fi. it still remains to be proven though, if i'm not mistaken |

String theory itself is rather an attempt at unifying the two apparently disjoint theories: relativistic quantum theory and general relativity. What happens is that one works quiet well with small particles(atomic level) and fails in the presence of gravity and the other performs excellent with big particles and gravity but fails at the atomic level. String theory is one theory that closes the gap between the above two theories. That is string theory apparently holds in both cases. It explains nature quiet well at both atomic and massive level. However, it is not perfect. If we can make it perfect then that will be the final draw that explains broadly the nature of our universe. _________________ Help humanity .....join the

I have a gut feeling that with every increase we have in the distance we can look into space (new Hubble), we will find our current theories fall to shambles. The stars that were seen on the outer limits of what we can view today we much more developed than expected initially... _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

ok, ok, ok rash- and lets let things go now. i apologize for jumping on your case. when you get the comp back, be sure to give it a thorough evaluation, and be prepared to use any, and all damage as proof as to why it was a bad idea...

well it wouldnt really matter if it messed up because I would just tell my folks that it was their fault and they will just have to give me money to build another.
I think i have cooled off the steam...... _________________ Main rig: 1/2" ID Water Cooled Lian-Li V2000B, Abit IP35 Pro, Intel C2D E6750@ -3.4ghz 1.3375v, Mushkin 2gb DDR2-800 996576, one terabyte storage, evga 7900GS KO w/ Zalman VF700-AlCu cooler, Swiftech Apogee GT water block, Ultra X2 550w PSU

rash, according to www.statsman.info, your handing in wu's, but they are only partials. if you have folding set up as a service, then your cousin (the 9yr old punk) is doing some serious overclocking. if it's you, then drop the OC. you should kill folding as a service before the comp. goes to your cousins house. |

actually, I didnt turn off folding before I gave it to him. They have DSL so that is probably why it is turning in WUs
I am not seriously overclocking it. Only about a 150mhz overclock.
The only reason i had to give up my comp was because their HP cant handle games.
Hmmmm, i think I will just go to his house, take back my comp for good, and let him borrow my xbox or something.
Ill be back up folding soon......VERY SOON and i will sort out the problem _________________ Main rig: 1/2" ID Water Cooled Lian-Li V2000B, Abit IP35 Pro, Intel C2D E6750@ -3.4ghz 1.3375v, Mushkin 2gb DDR2-800 996576, one terabyte storage, evga 7900GS KO w/ Zalman VF700-AlCu cooler, Swiftech Apogee GT water block, Ultra X2 550w PSU
