Finally broke down and built myself a P4.
1.8Ghz on an Tyan S2266 with a Geforce4 MX440 64MB with TVout and 256MB DDR (little low on memory, but I'll addon to it later)
Get the whole thing together, make double sure everything is perfect.
Wouldn't you know it, I boot the thing up and the floppy light stays on.  *Sigh*
I broke down and picked up a Cordless Keyboard and Optical Mouse. I recommend this to any one as it has proven very cool...

Yes sir, yes sir. I've been there and done that! Just when you think you've got it all wired, it won't come on, or the temps shoot up because the fan's not plugged in and etc. etc. 
Bad form for a Mobo Fu Master to be found screaming at his machine. What will the neighbors say

What I found fustrating is that I had fitted it into the desk and attached and shorted the cables with cable ties...and then I had to take it all apart.
Should have known. There is always something that is not setup correctly.
Last system I built, the IDE cables were shot. Luckily I just happen to have tons lying around me...

I always try to run through the boot sequence at the very least before nailing it shut for that very reason. Something is not going to work, or is not hooked up right, or whatever. Especially if I'm working on someone elses system. Gotta be thorough when the public's watching.
