not sure if this matters, as the modem is only engaged when wu's are uploaded, and downloaded, and no folding occurs during that process. but probably is relevant when the wu is initially started, and the modem remains active until the inactivity duration is reached (and disconnection occurs).
i'd have to test the console w/ a hardware modem to see if the behavior is the same or different before i rip FAH's console for not being coded correctly for modem users. it's my belief from my experience so far, that they need to have a modem yes/ no selection under config, and this would have some additional coding so that things would work better. |
