| Hmm, My Athlon XP 2500 with a barton core describes itself as having an FSB of 333, which is why I bought it. Do you know what the descrepancy is? |

memory speed is double-pumped. 2 x 166 is 333 (more or less). Nothing wrong there. _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

How about posting Older AMD specs? I play around with some pretty old machines, mostly from upgrading customer machines, then I donate them to the school. Many times, I have recieved machines with K6's and K7's. Since I prefer Intel. I would like to know more about these CPUs.

| I have a 2600+ and was told when I bought it that its a Barton core.....did I get lied to...is there no such thing?? Also it posts at 1.9ghz...is that right? |

I assume that you are referring to the Thunderbird series of Athlons that were 100MHz front side bus (200MHz DDR).
I have yet to find a reliable and/or complete source of information to be able to add this series to the table.
