What does this flag do? I read about it at the F@H site but dont have a clue what it means. I've heard others talking about using it with 9 in place of x for a setting but no explaination of what it does.
Can anyone explain it for me in simple english? _________________ Click here to Help humanity! Please join the Motherboards.org Folding Team (33258) |

default is -verbosity 3 (w/ o specifying anything), and yes, verbosity 9 (max setting) gives more info. this can be helpful for enhanced info output. a logfile is generated, and the verbosity x where x=9 will put more info in the logfile. can be helpful for trouble shooting, and good for the user as well (better knowledge of the processes occurring). the console version will show the extra output right in the console. the logfile looks like the console version output.
what version are you running?

| i can assume that it's 3.25 beta graphical, as your only referencing the logfile where the extra info will be shown? |
