Go into a local PC repair place (not a retail chain like Walmart), and have a discussion with them about what your looking for and budget.
What is offered here for ideas may not be available where you are.. _________________ We Help You. You Can Help Us!

What games are you going to play? Have you ever had a custom-built system before and what brand was in there, did you like it?
Just a few ideas to get you started... _________________ We hate rut, but we fear change.

For a great "off-the-shelf" package system, you might want to check the Alienware offers. But other sources (especially computer service shops) would be a great source to getting what you want. With a "package" system, you typically get a lot of unwanted software pre-loaded. But when you do it yourself, or have it made for you, you get a better deal.. although at maybe a bit higher price. Those "packages" typically help lower the purchase price, in hopes you will buy the software.
Get expert advice from a pro.. not from a mega-store salesperson looking for a commission. You could also check the displays at a "shopper's club" such as Costco, BJs, or other.
But if you are able to work with www.newegg.com/, check for their 'package' deals and 'bare bones' kits.. as well as 'open box' specials! _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |
