Hi, i need advice for buying new PSU for this configuration:
Case: Silverstone PS01
MoBo: DFI Lanparty DK x58 T3eH6
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.66GHz
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
RAM: Patriot 3 x 2GB Triple Channel @ 1333MHz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 @ 850/1200 MHz
SSD: Samsung 830 128GB
HDD1: WD Caviar Black 640GB
HDD2: WD Caviar Green 1 TB
i'm thinking about Corsair or Seasonic and maybe minimum 600W, so what's your recomendation, and which model from these two. (or if you have something better  ) |

600 should get you by for the time-being, but won't give you much overhead to make any additions/upgrades in the future.
i love my corsair HX850.

"More" power supply than needed is not a waste. The unused wattage will equate to better regulation, minimal surge problems, and have a longer life.
Plus you don't have to do an expensive 'upgrade' when additions are made to the PC. The PSU will provide only what the system demands.. never "push" more power than needed.
But stay with a known-good brand, having a good warranty. Too many knock-off PSU models that are worth less than half their listed price!

Good price is sort of a moot point, in that there could be a killer deal but not within your budget. So with that said whats the maximum you are planning on spending for the new power supply?
