Memorial Day is Monday, May 27th. It originally was called Decoration Day.. in honor of those brave soldiers who protected our freedoms and the freedoms of others around the world.
We accept it as more of a "party" time for family and friends, along with travel or other activities.
But its real meaning is to honor those who gave their all to ensure freedoms are never suppressed.
Pause for a moment or two, offer a silent prayer to those who were lost in battle.
Thank you, O Ye that have fallen, in your efforts that I retain freedoms!
