Hi there,
My internal hdd Shows in the List of serial ata Devices in the BIOS screen
But is not showing in the List of bootable Devives in the BIOS Setup
I have tried different cables etc, but no luck
Anything idea what the Problem could bei? |

More info is needed.. such as BIOS date of the system, and if it is SATA-1 or SATA-2 qualified. Older SATA designs may not recognize newer SATA-2 or SATA-3 devices. Check the details on the drive's label as to status, and if a jumper needs to be set to default to older standards.
If a new, unformatted drive, then use the OS install disk to partition and format it. If set as a secondary drive in a working system, use the Disk Manager feature of System Tools to partition and format it.

What brand/model is your motherboard? Is the disk connected directly to the board or to an add-in controller card? If on the card, did you buy one with a seperate bios to enable booting from it?

moboīs Brand & model needed.
some bios have two inputs related to booting devices. in the fisrt one U choose what devices to boot and in the second one you choose the boot order.
if U donīt list ur disk in the first entry them it will be not available in the second
