|
|
Hello Forum,
I just built two new PCs and normally I would go with free anti virus and security software or none at all. But this time around I have decided to look at buying a total internet security suite.
Any thoughts of suggestions between Kaspersky and Bitdefender?
Thanks |

Lots of reviews and comparisons can be found with a search on Google.. such as this one.
Having no anti-virus or Firewall is not a good idea! Your system could be hijacked easily, and be a source of viral spreads. Having a 'free' program is better than none, but a purchased program will provide the best protection.. as well as ability to scan malicious links and block them.
Myself, I prefer the AVG Security Suite. The price is right, also! _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |

we have kapersky at my work, and i am always having to turn it off to download from a couple places (hp's website being the most common)... not sure if it has anything to do with the network setup there or not, but before they installed kapersky, i had no problems. _________________ my main rig...

Add the URL to the "trusted sites" in the AV/Firewall program's control panel. By default, all Web sites are suspect of being malicious. Only those with a trusted security clearance are listed with the program's installation. _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |

If a home setup, then the problem is with program configuration. But if a business setup, then security locks are in place to prevent downloaded files which may corrupt the server and system. File download is restricted to "company business" needs only. _________________ F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes! |

In my point of view Kaspersky is better then other. Kaspersky is keep your PC fast. You can make more secure your PC through Kespersky. So, my vote for Kespersky.
